The Galactica Class was built to fight off the Cylon Tyranny and defend the 12 Colonies and those that the Cylon's threatened. This class was a marvel of the human races technology advances and strength of will and focus at defeating the defending against those that would destroy them. Even with the these great ships their great enemy, the Cylons, using a Trojan Horse tactic nearly made the human race extinct in this part of the galaxy. Now it is known that only one of these great ships may exist, the Galactica. The Galactica leads 220 ships from their destroyed homeworlds trying to find their legendary 13 Colony, Earth.
