Download Star Trek Future Tense's ''ORIGINAL'' Movie (Pre-Mod Release)

With Star Trek Future Tense nearing MOD COMPLETION (Its holding at about 85% now) Its time to reward the community that supported it for the past SEVEN Years by giving some Pre-Mod Releases. First off is the "ORIGINAL" Future Tense Movie.

To download the "ORIGINAL" Future Tense movie. To run, place into the Animations folder, and double click Armada.exe to play. Disc isn't required to run. The file will be placed onto AFC and other sites for mirrors and hosts shortly. Be warned its a 180MB file!

The New Movie featured on the mod, features the new models, specials and more advanced animations. More story revealed too as I've learnt how to animate characters since making this back in 2005/6 :) Never the less, I dont want to delete 9 months worth of work and thought I'd share it with you guys. 4 Minutes of this was released on Armada2Files as a teaser a couple of years back, now's your chance to watch the Entire thing!

More details on Future Tense can be found on the Future Tense forums, and now I'm back in action, I'll be updating it with information, screenshots and more over the next few days.

Take a Stand Against the Madness; Stop the RIAA!

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is on a rampage, launching legal attacks against average Americans from coast to coast. Rather than working to create a rational, legal means by which its customers can take advantage of file-sharing technology and pay a fair price for the music they love, it has chosen to sue people like Brianna LaHara, a 12 year-old girl living in New York City public housing.

Brianna, and hundreds of other music fans like her, are being forced to pay thousands of dollars they do not have to settle RIAA-member lawsuits -- supporting a business model that is anything but rational. This crusade is generating thousands of subpoenas and hundreds of lawsuits, but not a single penny for the artists that the RIAA claims to protect.

Copyright law shouldn't make criminals out of 60 million Americans, and it's time for a change. Congress is going to hold hearings; we need your help to make sure that the public's voice is heard. Tell Congress that it's time to stop the madness!

Hello all of the Armada Community, I am to inform you if you didn't already know that I Jolt_Commander am very streched for time. At the moment I am in school and scoccer leaving 10 mins to get on the net that is even if I feel I can. I have been running myself into the ground, and furter. For a good while now I have had a sort of cold or virus that has ended up weaking my whole body. I will be trying to get better the next week and will get on the net and post files if able. I will do my best on the weekends to move over the maps section and add files that I have just downloaded and deleted from the server, those will be top priorty considering that only I can access them at the moment. So to all, peace out and try to stay well.

get ready for the ride of your life! this new Complete Do-Over for armada 1 is going to rock this world! scheduled to release by Winter,(I hope summer to mid-summer, though,) Star Trek : Ages goes through the star trek timeline as you build upgrades at your reasearch facilities to create strong vessels, including the federation midway class, a ship i made upp on my own. it may look like an oversized soveriegn class, but wait till it enters battle! the other races have super ships, too, and I am making the ferengi available to play. this mod is working off of the way of the warrior mod, all credits will be submitted in the readme files.

After a visit over to STGU (as I do frequently), I was most interested when I came across a newsbite for a seemingly new freeware game called "Star Trek - Red Alert". Okay so as curiosity got the best of me I headed over to the main site of this game to check it out. Basically put, the game is a 2d, overhead based tactical simulation. The graphics are certainly eyepleasing with sound being very accurate. Music is based on and around the films and series and suits very well. Anyway, as it is I do hope this stays in developement and without further to do.....

Just look through a web site for new types of ship could be use for Mods. Go to http://www.desktopstarships.com and go to gallery click star trek for the star trek gallery. When there you'll see pics of ship. There are 30 pages of pics os ships.

Even though currently the official modelling department is only me, there is some good news to report.

I have finally gotten a 3ds Max Script to work that allows me to import models from Command and Conquer Generals. So we now have some new models for Chinese and EA buildings, that will only require minimal time to convert and get ingame.

In TOS Episode 64 the U.S.S. Defiant was caught in a Space Disruption after it was gone the crew of the USS Enterprise morned the death of kirk, But we now know where kirk went to before they saved him, He was in the Mirror Universe and he did not notice that untill later.

The Stargate Project

At the moment the team is currently putting together all the models needed for this mod. A few models have been released on armada2files but by no means are these the final models and textures.

I have also been in contact with several people who have very kindly donated some of there models from other games or just models that they have created themselves. The names of everyone that has donated to this mod will be put in the read me and are up on this site in a credits thread, along with the items that they have donated or helped with.

We are still collecting and creating models and texture for this mod so anyone who feels they can help with this or would like to donate some of their stuff to the mod, is most welcome to contact me at ColdDarkParanoia@gmail.com

I am also looking for high quality pictures of ships and station to help with the creation of models. Any ships, stations or weapons that you would like to see in game could you please post images with them in the Item Request Thread.
