Ok, thank your for your efforts.
I wondered because I have rarely been in a situation where I wanted to battle two or three AI empires at the same time. Except for those cases where they are lazy, don't colonize and you gan grow much more than them and just run them over.

Re: Galaxies Mod & UDM, Intel
This topic isn't the newest one but I have a related question: If you assign 1% for espionage and 9% or another low value for sabotage it will make the AI invest more intel into internal security and thus reduce the sabotage against you. Thats how I understand it. But won't this also cause many fail...

Re: Espionage as a substitute for science?
Then I'll try that when it's not crucial. I had reports saying something like "agents stole 15 terraquad of weapon research data". And you can check how much science points (terraquad?) you need for the next step. So I guess you could steal all ypu need. Later on you'll need more but I als...

Espionage as a substitute for science?
Hi, I wonder whether I can utilise espionage as a way to expedite science. I read some posts that implicate that and of course intel reports usually tell you your agents stole x-terraquads of data if you make them target science. I searched for more information on this but couldn't find much. There ...

Ok, thank you.
I used to play UDM but wasn't sure whether it remained the same.

Re: Battle commands in ECM
It appeared a few turns after editing.
But it doesn't sound like this correlates. I'll try a new game.

Re: Battle commands in ECM
Thank you. You make this idiot proof. Unfortunately trex.exe still crashes. The crash report says the following: ST:BOF Mon Jan 23 21:44:12 2017 Version Under Test: 72 File: ..\..\source\game\solarapi.c, Line: 2792, System is not dest or source of trade route Initialize State: 31 Player Empire: 1 St...

Re: Battle commands in ECM
Can I find this "command ship solo-targeting restriction" as a patch? There is an exlcamation mark next to the patch "General galaxy generation settings". Is this ok? Or does this cause problems? As far as I remember it already was there when I tried the Botf patcher the first ti...

Re: Battle commands in ECM
The crash log says the destination/origin of a trade route is the reason for the problem.
But I will anyway check whether I applied that patch correctly.
Thank you for all your help!

Re: Battle commands in ECM
Thank you, Thunderchero.
I found the patch. Unfortunately I couldn't try it out yet because there is some problem with trex.exe stopping to work during the game.

Battle commands in ECM
Hello there, I started using ECM recently and encountered the situation that I can't choose "select ship" to give a single ship orders in battle. If I select a ship the orders available are: 1. Evade. 2. Retreat. 3. Open hailing frequencies. 4. Hold position. (I play the Fed and have tried...

Re: playing off major powers
Hi, it's time for an update. According to the "retire"-graph I am now the strongest power. At least I have more systems than the second strongest enemy, who are the Romulans. I bombed two oft three Dominion systems close to my starbase in their area and colonized them, received the Xindi, ...
