depends in what stage of the game you are. In early stages it is useful to keep them. If they gained some experience in the game it's advisable to let them defend outposts or starbases. thanks for the interesting link Weirdness, I downloaded Supremecy but the Installer of Net Framework 3.5 SP1 couldn't download and install its files as yet (I don't know why...). Maybe I'll find a complete installable file, which requires no connection to a microsoft server for further installation....
