@kingy I don't know how much BotF was sold. I hoped for a long time, too that "they" would make a sequel. I like other turn-based games like Civ, too. Maybe, our opinion or taste don't fit in the realtime Command&Conquer era. It went through my mind that this is the only reason they di...

thanks for the link, I've tried to download it, but it didn't worked. I hate this MS page really. I looked also for some other links but no one really worked and I couldn't download the SP1. Maybe I have some security issues (proxy, etc.) I have to solve first.

depends in what stage of the game you are. In early stages it is useful to keep them. If they gained some experience in the game it's advisable to let them defend outposts or starbases. Most of the minor race ships have good shields with a good refresh rate but are slow. Others like Ktarian are fast...

7 DM?? *tz* good price ;) I looked for the box and the bill in it but I only found a dusty thing with a manual in it. But I remember that I bought it for 69,99 DM in the Media Markt. Must be in 98 or 99. Long time ago. I'm sure it was the first day it was released in Germany. before BotF, I almost p...

turns - problems - mouse - lan

more ships, more waiting as it seems As I read this thread I had to think about some old LAN-Sessions, almost a decade ago. After 150 turns, we had to wait about 5 Minutes and more! And it wasn't able to fight in the same battle like my best friend - the game usually crashes. At our last session 1 y...
