Display screen continues off left side of screen

When I run the trek.exe, it cuts off on the left side of the computer screen, continuing off that way. Is there a way for me to change the resolution for the game so it stops doing this? I really don't want to keep changing my monitor's dimensions every time to run it. Thanks in advice.

does this happen every time? I have experienced this from time to time but I close game then restart game and it is in correct position.

you could also request alpha version of MPR++ since it starts in windowed mode you should never see this problem.

It does it every time so far. And it shows the right side edge some bit from the right edge of the computer monitor's screen. If I stick my fingers at the right edge of the screen, the game's screen ends on that side three fingers-four fingers in. The game screen continues off the left edge, and i get a pop-up about changing the monitor resolution to 1920 X 1080. Otherwise, the game works.

This sounds like a video driver problem. you could try to up date it but tbh it sounds like it will not help.

it is strange you stated it changing resolution to 1920 x 1080 works since default resolution for game is 800 x 600. so I must ask what is your desktop resolution?

the only other thing would be to look at your video control panel to see if you could set resolution for the game when it loads?

It was the computer at college, and the computer I am using at home works well to play on, and so I am. So its not an issue anymore. Thanks for the help though.
