Galaxies Mod crash and now wont start

hey so i got a prob. Yesterday i installed galaxies mod the right way and ive been playing it up till today. for some reason, at turn 130, the game crashed and now i cant even get the exe to launch without it going to a white screen and it saying that its not responding. Dont know why it wont work now when it was yesterday. this is what the error is i think: AppHangB1 or the problem error. I run win vista as well. any help would be appreciated.

any crash log or anything in the windows event log?
did you install anything, update display drivers, update windows meanwhile?
try backup files and do a clean install, see if that helps.

all of a sudden it started working again but its slower loading the turns even from turn 1. thx for help dough
