Mouse lag

I'm trying to run Ultimate Dominion Mod III (Which I LOVE!!!) on Windows 10 Home.

The computer I'm running it on is a Toshiba quad-core 64-bit with 12gb of memory.

I'm running the game with DPI scaling disabled, Windows 98 compatibility, and admin authorization. I have the DxWnd installed.

The game runs ok, but the mouse is jerky/laggy. It never quite stops lagging, no matter how long I play. Possibly related, the manual battle mode is slow/jerky as well.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

what files did you use to install UDM? I suggest the new All in One 1.0.0 installer.

you say you have DxWnd installed, but are you starting UDM with DxWnd?

also you should clear all those compatibility settings when using DxWnd (DxWnd compensates for all that already)

hi.... long time no post.. im trying to run udm on this celeron 1ghz... 4gb ram... no issues in ubuntu so i know this craptop can do it.. but the cursor takes hours to nudge a lil... when moving around the sectors.. using windows 10... fullscreen mode.. 1024x???... i thought dxwnd starts automagically...... am i doing something wrong ?

Yes current installer uses a dxwnd proxy files, so if they are present in install path, they should be loading (preventing mouse lag)

is this issue present in other versions installed?
