Birth of the Federation

I recently installed the Ultimate Dominion Mod iii but when I try to start it I get a "trek.exe has stopped working" message. I am trying to run it on a Vista 32 bit system and have tried the compatibility mode with it as well. Are there any solutions?

I have 1.0.2 downloaded and installed but can't seem to get any mods to work.

The most common reason for this would be wrong setting in the stbof.ini of UDM/UDML folder change the line for;

3D=DIRECT3D
to
3D=SOFTWARE

if this helps I suggest you uninstall UDM and multi main installer then reinstall multi main installer with SOFTWARE option then reinstall UDM

this will install with proper mpr files for software mode.
