lookin good dude, but i would like to suggest that you get new weap textures, thats what i do for my private modding as it just spices up the game a little more. plus i would recommend making ur torps smaller if you're going for realism, notice those torps in the last pic are bigger than a griff's e...

one question. whats the point of buying them? when i buy one, all that happens is that i cant engage in any missions, even planetary assault of starbase assault.

Texture Making W/out a High res model

as the titel says i was wondering how people make textures with just a base metal pic and psp. My highest priority is making that circular pattern in the metal for the saucer section

yes the shiplist is not read only and the thing is the ships are updated with the new features i added in skirmishes, but not campaigns :roll: setup right?
and im modding every race.

thanx for the reply Gonwee, and that is what i use fro moding, but as i stated above, the problem is not in the modding itself, but that it doesn't become apparent in the game.

Modding SFC

alright here is my dilemma, i modded the shiplist with a modding program and it works fine, the only problem is that when i add new weapons to the starting frigate, the don't work, and if its a new weapon alotgether, it is blackened out like it is damged and i can't repair it :( any suggestons?

Well, my opinion is that SFC 2 is better for a few reasons. The first and biggest is that you get new races, two is the new galactic map, conquering s3ectors isn't as haphazard as it was in SFC 1.
