So is this where MM's dynamic loader comes in, allowing us to ADD TO the code, not edit source?
I would have thought all of these games fell under abandonware these days, just not the ST franchise.

How to edit STA2 mission files?
I was looking around for how to edit the .dsl. and .drl files in the mission folders.
Is an editor required, or are they like the .odf's and can be opened with notepad?

Re: New Galactica Vs. Old
1. The human land on planet earth (no way you can argue this), and yet there is no mention of them in this supposed earth history. I could write 2 pages on this line. Short answer... there is something like this in the earliest writings in cuneiform. Volumes have been written about the Anunnaki, so...

Re: New Galactica Vs. Old
5. I just can't stand how they humanized the cylons. Their now just 6 foot tall underwear models that frack you to death. Ahh, but what a way to go! Seriously, I enjoyed the new BSG, a lot more realism, less "wagon train in space". Good backing story with the 13 colonies that was never well develop...

Re: Trouble installing Armada 1 on Win10
Resolved.
I had to run the installer as Admin. It wouldn't let it create the Activision file.

Re: Trouble installing Armada 1 on Win10
I noticed today that it did copy links to "armada.won.net" and some other activision links in /users/Star Trek Armada
But it never created the activision folder in program files x86

Trouble installing Armada 1 on Win10
Downloaded iso (mdf file), mounted it, installed, and looked for Activision folder, but it wasn't there. Did it again taking note of install path, same results. No folder, no files. 3rd install attempt I set my own directory and once again, despite the installer showing progress up until "100% compl...

Thanks, I appreciate the assistance. don't trust the "wares" sites and such, but with it being such an old game I suppose my odds of seeing a premium treatment like BotF received is too much to hope for. Edit: I couldn't reply via the PM for some reason but a reinstall and the 2 patches up to v1.25 ...

Trying to get Armada 2 running
Folks I lost my cd with several others years ago in a move but have treasured my archived .iso in hopes of getting the game up and running again someday. That day has come and I am the proud owner of a corrupted file apparently, as it installs but the virtual drive demands a CD even though the image...
