Re: Camera Default
Awesome stuff - I've used that to get a slightly nicer viewing setting as I'm using a widescreen monitor which skews the display horizontally

Camera Default
Like usual, I'm going to look like a right fool here!
I've somehow managed to change the way the camera view the game, is there any way of restoring it to the default? I've tried using both mouse buttons to no avail so just wondered if there might be a shortcut to do such a thing

Re: Adding Cloaks
When I tried it, the issue basically was that using one or the other made you vulnerable to weapons if detected. Obviously that was fine with the undetectable phase cloak, but that led to the weapons-while-cloaked scenario. As is, I have left it, as the AI tends not to use the specials that much and...

Re: Build From Temporal Research Facility?
Yeah I think it's going to have to be a third shipyard - my loose plan is to built Miranda, Excelsior era ships from Starbase, Wolf 359 era from Shipyard and anything later from the Advanced. Will have to come up with a new shipyard idea and learn to model to produce it.
Thanks for the advice

Build From Temporal Research Facility?
Quite possibly going to be another odd enquiry from me, but here goes: The amount of canon Federation starship types means that it is quite easy to fill up all the build slots in the shipyards. Partly to save such slots, and partly because the ship is from the future, I wondered whether it was possi...

Re: Adding Cloaks
Firstly, I apologise for being probably quite annoying, asking all these questions about cloaks As I mentioned, I've managed to add cloaks to all the Klingon ships I wanted to, tested them all and was happy. I then realised the Romulan Shadow class (the rspecial) has no cloak so I added it. Here's t...

Re: Adding Cloaks
Thanks Mr V, will have another go now and let you know how I get on :) (Very quick edit - have managed to get the cloak working on the second Klingon cruiser, will next attempt to get it on the other ships. Then I have some fixing to do to make the super weapon ships slower as I have inadvertantly s...

Adding Cloaks
So I know I'm probably going to sound like an absolute tool here, but I can't seem to get the hang of adding cloaks to ships - I've tried the Klingon scout and second cruiser, getting a button that didn't work and no change respectively. All I was doing was adding the weapon to the odf. Is there som...

Re: Armada download section discussion
The download section will remain as is Awesome! With regard to the minimal space, scrolling through the Federation ships available, there are a few packs with more than one ship available, some of which are available separately as well. Is it more efficient to have the models and files in packs of ...

Forgive the ignorance here, but is the plan still to close down the Armada downloads section?

Re: Why do you visit armadafleetcommand
Have been absent for nearly two years now, but I am once again planning on modding Armada this summer, never having done so satisfactorily. Armada was the closest I got to living my dream of being in Star Trek, and modding is the closest I'll get to advancing my career :p The resources on this site ...

Possibly Actually Starting to Mod!!
Ok, so I know I've been a member for quite some time now, but because I've been running A1 on a Windows 95 machine with no internet connection I haven't actually ever modded Armada...in actual fact, I joined the sight to fix an issue with the game, which seemed to become a regular occurrence with me...

Re: anybody still around ?
I think the difficulties between these old games and the new systems makes it too hard to make running these games consistently worth it. I know that I rarely play anymore because of A) a lack of time and B) a lack of options for gameplay

Re: Way of the warrior 3 in final testing and tidying up mod
Shame to hear that Armada will soon be a thing of the past unless more people like myself and MrV playon older machines. My problem is that I can't do any serious modding with it as I can't connect to the internet on my Armada PC and get software like milkshake. Some of the ships shown in the screen...

Re: Star Trek Armada Fleet Ops
Not quite sure I understand what you're saying about the Enterprise timeline, but what you say about TV/Movies being canon and books not is true, however, with the 'new' movies (ie Abramsiverse) the books have been the only way to carry the stories of the original universe on, so in my opinion they ...
