This works in A2?! That's awesome! I hadn't tested it in A2.

The gemini wave duplicates allied ships around you. This duplicates your own ship several times. I might be able to make this into a wave if people are interested. Thanks. :D

Thanks guys for the comments! Although this seems easy it was actually quite difficult. One small change in any file will cause it not to work, crash, or have unexpected results. While others have made mods where you could make duplicates of other ships or a single copy of our own ship, this effect ...

A1-Gemini Effect Question

This is in Armada 1. Can the Gemini Effect (where a ship is duplicated) be placed in a multi weapon chain file?

I've tried but I think the u ball object used for multi weapons is incompatible with the Gemini effect. Any one know for sure?

You said you're having trouble getting Armada 1 working. I have it working on Windows 7 x64 Home Edition if you need help.

Sorry been busy - life creeps in - lol

The sod in question is "94ship00.sod" in the dark alliances mod. I haven't had a chance yet to explore it in storm3d. Enclosed is a screen shot.

I apologize,I was mistaken in the last post. I had placed storm3d in the wrong directory and opened the wrong sod by mistake. I use 3d converter for a quick viewer of sods and storm3d for changing textures, etc. I had just done a quick view - I hadn't tried storm3d yet. In 3d converter the sod appears as a normal sod with a normal texture, but in storm3d the sod appears completely differently as a light source and shows no...
