hi guys i've never really been a fan of A2, i much prefered the style of A1. however i have a new machine with a graphics card that is too new to fully support A1 (it will run the game but very very slowly, it took 30 whole seconds for a torp from the enterprise to hit a vessel just 2 squares away!)...

how do i 'roll back' the drivers and what effect will that have on the computer outside of the game? also the computer in question is not connected to the net, it is my own computer and the only access i have to the net is via my mothers computer. does that complicate matters?

cheers twitch, never thought about altering the weapon classlabel. though from my experience it does just tend to crash the game. i'l give it a go though. @corbo i'm not a fan of a2, i find the whole depth thing anoying. are you saying the 8472 weapon will work in a1? i've been toying with this idea...

yeah that commands in the 3rd odf for the ionstorm weapon, it was set to 10sec so i just cut and pasted it over to the odf for the 'artificial wormhole' (i.e. 3rd odf of the weapon) and tried it out. nothing :( the wormholes were as permanent as ever.

come on guys someones gotta have a clue what i'm on about. i'm trying to make a weapon along the lines of the ionstorm weapon but instead of the red cloud i want it to lay a wormhole that disappears after 10 seconds just like the ion cloud.
