The Galaxy class really grew on me over the years. I like the big saucer. lol I also like the Nebula class alot. I always felt that, with the introduction of the Sovereign class, the Galaxy was just pushed aside and made an after thought. I mean, the Galaxy was the flagship for several years! :D

I say A1 because I think it's playability is easier. I hate that brain thing in A2. My ships just always want to run off and get killed and I have to go in and tell them all to stay put. lol

Well, if we're gonna discuss sheer firepower and destructive scope, then I'd have to rate the Sun Crusher at or very near the top of the list. However, all three of the shows have tech with the ability to cause a star to go nova. The thing that impressed me even more than the weapon the Sun Crusher ...

Babylon 5 Avatars

Is there any chance of getting some B5 avatars? If nothing else, if someone could tell me how to make them I have plenty of B5 pics and icons that might work. :D

I meant to say that Star Trek is significantly more technical than B5 or Star Wars. To me, the disadvantage of that is that they have come to rely upon that technology, which at times inhibits that ability to adapt to circumstances. If that makes sense. I'm not sure I worded it like I should have, b...

Certainly, on a purely technical level, Star Trek rules the roost. There's just no question about it. Rugged is the perfect way to describe Babylon 5. As far as I know, there was only 1 true scientific ship in the whole show and that was the Explorer class Earth ship. The B5 ships have a limited cap...

Sisko would have made an excellent Earth Force general. I don't mean to try to say one is better than the other, just that they both have advantages and dis-advantages. Although, one small thing. The transporter strategy would work with everyone except the Minbari, Shadows and Vorlons. All three hav...

One thing that's been overlooked in the discussion is the sheer size of ships in the B5 universe. An Earth Omega destroyer is just over a mile in length according to ship size comparison charts and the B5 tech website. Babylon 5 was 5 miles long, Babylon 4 was even bigger and had ungodly armament. T...

Cracks

Are there any program cracks that allow you to play Armada and Armada 2 without the discs? My CD drive is about to fail and I can't afford a new one, but still want to be able to play the games. If anyone knows of anything like this, it'd sure be appreciated. no talk bout bout this kind of stuff is ...

JMS has been signed on to some of the creative stuff for Enterprise. He's stated that one of the reasons he's gotten involved in the Trek world was to get fundage for a new B5 series, starring the original cast. Except for Richard Biggs, of course. With luck, JMS will be able to save both of t...

Awesome. I'll be happy to help in any way I can with B5 tech and ship information and such. I'm a huge fan of the show and have collected quite a bit of information about the hardware. If you ever played Wraith's B5 A1 mod, his ships for it are pretty much perfect. As close tto the actual show as on...

Star Wars ships have one major flaw that would doom them in either the Trek of B5 universe. Accuracy. As much as I love Star Destroyers, they can't hit the broad side of a barn without resorting to overkill. The weapons precision of the other two would just carve them out of the sky. I'd even give t...
