CptBenSisko, just received your email - I'm going to look at your files to see what is wrong with the game crashing and all!

I may have to try using armour codes because it may just work - it would provide yet another conduit into doing this. I was also under the impression it wasn't possible because it was changed to shields in armada II. Anyway, I've been away the whole day, so I didn't get to submit my mod - I'm doing ...

If I would have someone in office next time, guess who it would be - your's truely - Bush. We're in the war now and the only way to improve our defenses and offenses is to have him in there again. Just because I say he's got less pride doesn't indicate anything about his abilities. I voted for the g...

I must have every Federation ship out there - about 105! Anyway, this sounds like a good place to discuss new ideas! I have a new mod coming out that is pretty simple, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't been done (see the thread, Ablative Armor, Firing Arcs, and Torpedo Compliments). I covered the part w...

Yep - that's pretty much what I was saying - Bush has the try but doesn't have all the pride. It's up to every single person to have pride in their work, or else it ends up giving the US bad intelligence! I could not agree more that our government really didn't know everything about what we were doi...

Well, all I can really say is that this terrorism is an evil that must be stopped by someone and it's a fact that it's gonna be us that will have to stop it. I'd love to be able to round up all the terrorists in one corner of the world and evacuate the innocent and then nuke the terrorists! Since th...

Yeah - that would be alright. Send email to ElweMithrandir@comcast.net. It may take a while for me to figure out your problem, so there could be a delay. However, I'm planning on submitting my files today. I'm not sure how long it will take them to be on this site as downloads. Also, if you know whi...

That's what I found when I tried doing something similar. The death chant texture still remains the Klingon logo! I've been trying to find a way around that as well, but as usual, the classLabel shows its face once again! :P

hmmm.... I don't fully understand what would make that work, but it sounds like a possibility - anything that doesn't require bypassing classLabel restrictions is pretty much a possibility in Armada II! Of course, if there is a way to separate ships without using the Galaxy separation classLabel, th...

Well...you can instead put in the baseName = "" line another SOD you want to use, such as Fedpod15.SOD or something like that. You don't have to make an SOD file for fpodweapon01 if you have the baseName="" line present. Just choose an SOD file (any ship, pod, or station would do) and put the name o...

I think there may be an animation line missing in those special weapons' odf files. Some special objects in the game have a line that is like: animation = 2 It's something like that. It could also be that there is a problem in the Sprite files somewhere (maybe weapon.spr). I'm not quite sure of this...

hmmmm... I'd say that Garrett was probably at least better than Janeway and Harriman! But I heard that Harriman actually became a good fighting captain a few years after his ill-fated first command voyage! I heard he beat the poop out of a Klingon warrior when he supported another war between the Fe...

You da man too! :D
Anyway, you can have just one hardpoint - I just used a lot of hardpoints since I had to use trial and error to figure out if my pod had these hardpoints somewhere.
By the way, Sisko was the best Star Trek captain! 8)

I certainly believe also that W is trying his best and has the best wishes of his nation. I am a Republican myself, so I voted for him :P . I figured he was better than Gore (who some call the 'Bore' or the "man-like object'). If our government needed anything, it would just be more pride in these t...
