Well, at first they (in the FAQ section) said sometime in September, and now they're saying that it will coincide with Trek's 40th anniversary. I personaly think that they're going to do everything they possibly can to get it into the gold stage before the anniversary, but they could simply run into...

it is possible, but you would have to do a lot of editing to numerous files to let all of the units be buildable by both the player and the AI, and to balance the game.

EDIT: that is if you want all of the mods on one game of A2.

it's name is STIntro.bik, but it's only found on the CD (in setup\animations). to replace it I think you need to throw the new intro into the Addon folder. and it is in Bink format ;)
