I know it's still going to take some time for the mod to finish but i wonder if you have allready finished the intro animation. My download capacity is limited by a certain amount every month. It would be great to be able to download that intro in advance. Even if it is in a winrar compression file ...

I see you used yunkyard for your pics.
It's just a suggestion, but can you leave the map units on this map as they are. This way you get a map filled with old junk map units. It doens't make sense to have a map junkyard as the derelict ships are new types.

If it's a zipped file just right mouse click and unzip it in a different directory, or instal it in a different directory. Then add the needed files manualy. Odf, SOD and textures. maybe this can be of help. ain't a officer solution but a different apraoch to reach your goal. Change your techtree so that your destroyers need a shared pod, your cruisers would need a pod. Then you would need to build the pods first in order to start production of those ships. When you destroy a ...

well that's kinda the problem. Because the officergain function doesn't work in a2. Else it would be a matter of making a pod with the line officergain in it and research or build that pod.
