well I have thought about that for ROTE, but the problem I am seeing is that it wont work correctly, unless you make a planet with hardpoints that would 'build' ring components on it.

in theory the same thing will happen to a minning station.... just pointing out small flaws in the concept, other then that its a good idea, for starbases that dont build.

as soon as I finish up with most of the borg side, you will receive screenshots. Right now, I have 4 out of the some odd number of meshes ready for hardpointing, and as soon as I have completed the Yards at least, then i will get you some screenshots of the borg units.

only problem Im seeing here is that if you have the station in orbit, it will rotate around the planet... and if memory serves me correctly, when the ship starts being built it stays in that location... so if you have a station in orbit, have it construct a construction ship while on the left side o...

actually Darklight, the hardpoints themselves can be animated, however you cant turn them into turrets that follow the target. This gives me an idea for ROTE, so you will most likely see this feature in ROTE, with credit to you for the original idea.

do you mean like the station rotates on its own axis while it rotates in orbit? If this is so, you just need to animate the SOD and then add the line animation = 2 I believe which makes it rotate all the time once its been constructed... if Im wrong, let me know.

firstly, I will be sure to contact Yacuzza about using some of the stuff from Twilight for my mod. Secondly, Im not sure if its a Fleet Ops version, to find out Id probably have to download the mod to check, and frankly, I dont want to at the moment. I ported it from SFC, created by darkdrone/Maddoc...

which ones exactly? The sphere and Cylinder are handmade by me, textures pulled out of the Twilight Beta, so thats probably where you've seen the textures, as for the Cardies, they are Zorgs models, so they are already around, but Im using them for the mod, as for the Kahless, its a Nightsoft Produc...
