What Intrepid?? lol If it's in a SOD format than you can't import it due to the plugin restrictions. If it's in an MS3D or 3DS format then I think you can import with stock Milkshape. Not sure about 3DS Max. Build buttons have nothing to do with modeling. They are stored as 64 by 64 pixel uncompress...

If you wanted to get around ignoreShield, like Warren said, than I would suggest to take a look at special weapon ODFs for while. Investigate classLabels. I'm not sure how far that will get you, but you might find something. :wink:

I actually think that most mods are for A2. There's not much here, but I think that the majority of mods released and under development right now in the community are for Armada II. :)

The only way that I can think of right now would be to have the weapon with normal coding and have an invisible phaser that would disable shields before the other weapon hit. But then you'd still have the "no-shield" effect on the ship. I don't think there's an easy way. :?

Firefly, I think that you would have been able to tell if FT was released just by looking at the main page of AFC; there'd probably be a thread or two in the forums and it would be listed on the recently posted list :)

I import things to Milkshape; I find it a lot easier to view hardpoints, poly counts, and stuff in MS3D rather than Storm3D. I like to be able to see the shape of the ship, which is part of the reason I like Milkshape for viewing.

If you're searching for the 'We are the Borg. Lower...', just go to Google, AltaVista, etc. and use a search string like 'borg && sounds' or somesuch.

There's always ways to convert it once you have the file.
