I'd say the Defiant looks great at close range; the real problem is the fact that in gameplay it's a really small unit so the details become difficult to see from far away. If there was, perhaps, a bit higher contrast between the different grays of the ship no one would be able to criticize it anymo...

Genius! Any-who, guess I'll post a few pictures of my "mod". Hopefully there're some Stargate fans in the house... The Ori arrive... <IMG SRC="http://www.freewebs.com/pultrus/good2.jpg"> ... and punish some unbelievers... <IMG SRC="http://www.freewebs.com/pultrus/good.jpg"> ... while elsewhere in sp...

All the dead 8472 ships conveniently exploded into liquid-nothingness if I remember correctly, so I don't think the Borg will be adapting that way. As for the Transphasic torpedoes and whatnot, yeah I can certainly see the Borg adapting to those after long enough. The Federation would have to find a...

Whoa! That gets you extra points as far as I'm concerned (for what that's worth). How did you do that (if you don't mind sharing, that is)!?

...keeping code for modding the single player aspect of the game to themselves(the team) is a bit selfish, its not even their engine, it should be shared. I'm pretty sure you cant have propriety code for an engine you dont have paid rights for :? A valid point, however in the strictest sense nothin...

Were some of the forms on your ships originally spheres? It appears that a number were, and one thing that you should probably know if you're going for FT designing is that the staff tends to discourage the use of spheres, as they are un-necessarily polygon-heavy. I don't know how aware you are of t...

Well, we all know it wouldn't be his first legal infraction (Tom Paris', that is).

Gee, thanks! By smoothing, though, you mean adding sides or just welding the vertices?

I did ( 2 popping segments anyway). People can still be pretty tricky, although it would seem a lot of trouble to go to to get people to think that cell phones can pop popcorn if in fact they can't. Obviously the popping was real, but whether or not the cell phones were the only possible cause is di...

K, LONG overdue for a post, I know. So before I waste much more time, how's this for a feather design? Is it something to work with or do I need to go in a different direction? Also, 'nother Romulan design if you're still looking for more of them (might change the front; I find the 'beak' the most c...

I'm not sure that it's entirely true that there are is no hull for A1. I've made a couple of models for A2 that I converted to A1 but didn't change the odf. Each of these ships, when their shields are down, tend not to take any system damage; only elevated crew loss. I think the line about hull stre...

If you mean the one I did (or rather am doing) it's at the top of the page. Claydo's got a sweet one on the first page; other than that I know of no other new Warbirds.
