That's completely unrealistic! Everyone knows that Daniel would never end up in a different group then Vala! (Ha ha.) Great story, though! I'm also sorry to see that there is no posty thingy for next chapters.

If you have the Armada odfs, in the "Other" folder there is a teamcolor.odf. I can't be positive at this point, but I'm fairly sure that this is where you change the colors. With it open, you see 3 columns of decimal numbers. If you've ever used photoshop then you know that the first column is red, ...

I can't walk you through it at this point because I don't even remember what I did to get this to work, but here are some links to the odfs for the repulse as a primary, not special, weapon. http://www.freewebs.com/pultrus/repul.odf http://www.freewebs.com/pultrus/repulo.odf Never posted files befor...

Thanks again! A little while ago I successfully gave my advanced Federation construction ship a b-wing launcher! This was just to test the SOD weaponry, my ultimate ambition to have working missiles had nothing to do with something quite as random. Nevertheless, it was fun to watch the little dereli...

Say, thanks! I thought I had this topic set on "watch", but I was never notified that anyone had responded. I'll certainly give it all a go. Going to have to look into SOD-based weaponry though. (I tried making a blue transwarp wormhole once to no avail, and that was my one and only attempt at a SOD...

Where do I start? It'll have to be with the Constitution class. I can't believe you can make it look that perfect on a poly budget!!! !!! !!! Beyond that, I won't argue against any of your well-made points, but I might as well tell you what I was thinking when I did some of this stuff. 1. Flimsy, ye...

I see you're anubis now (best Goa'uld ever!). Spent a few hours making a TOS model (as a part of the test) when I realized that I had no idea what "kitbash" meant. I looked it up, but now I can't help but still feel a little confused. At the time of the TOS movies, there was like only one type of fe...

A fantastic idea for a skill-building exam! I will start tomorrow, some time after my classes. This will be the coolest test I've ever taken!

Good question. I know that as of yet I'm not very good at restricting myself to low polys. All of my training comes from Cadkey, which was obviously very different than the more game-formated gmax and milkshape. High detail probably won't be a problem, though. Perhaps to rate my worthiness for this ...

I'd be thrilled to join the team, if you'll have me. I can do new weapons and odfs and stuff, but mostly I'd like to make models. I have to admit, my knowledge of non-TNG races is limited, but I think I could create some exceptional Romulan or Breen ships. I've even got a nifty futuristic concept fo...

Hi. If you still want a Venator, I'll make you one. Let me know, please. I may be a first-year cadet on this site, but my 3D modeling goes much farther back. (Also, if you would like the Invisible Hand, I just finished making a mesh for it. It's not a very pure incarnation, though- sort of a hybrid ...

Missiles

This goes out to all of you advanced programmers out there. Earlier today I discovered for the first time that the torpedo sprites don't turn as they track. Evidently, there is no defined front and back for torpedoes. So this brings me to my question: if you wanted a sprite to behave like a torpedo,...

I don't have any suggestions; I just thought I'd tell you nice job. The texture job might be somewhat rough, but it's better than I can seem to do (I use MS3D too and I think it leaves a lot to be desired in the texture application field [such as better face selecting tools, or something]). Keep up ...
