While I can't say I've done any stations, you know you're welcome to any of the Romulan ships I have done. I have a few that I never quite finshed (e.g., Romulan De'shara Warbird) that you can take into the end zone if you want to do a little tweaking. As you know, I never quite mastered the low pol...

I know I have hardpointed many ship and haven't experienced too many problems using Milkshape and the plug-ins. I do recall that location of the root node is important. I believe it is typically centered at (0,0,0) on the x,y,z plane. When I make a model from scatch, I export it out as an A1 sod fil...

I'd recommend you grab the export plug-in from the Milkshape site and start afresh to ensure nothing was corupted. http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/ms3d/download.html Also, if you have the nonstock ship importer, I'd delete the hierarchy and export the model out as is. The standard importer will creat...

It was never illegal...in fact, several people knowledgable of C++ have made it. In fact, if you know C++ programming all of the necessary files are there to make the program. All you need to do is edit out the lines of code that check/restrict it too stock models. It was guarded by many in the Arma...

Here is a simple work around for Milkshape. 1. Import a stock model...say the enterprise 2. Delete the meshes, and textures but not the hierarchy. Keep that intact. 3. Save this as hierarchy.ms3d 4. Open your model, delete your hierarchy 5. Import the hierarchy.ms3d 6. Update the mesh node in the im...

Looking good MAP. I am anxiously waiting to see what you do with the Romulans. :) Achilles had some good Romulan models and the ones A2 ones done by Aad Moreman looked good as well. Aad often includes the Milkshape file with his stuff so they's be real easy to convert over to A1.

I took a quick look at the model and she is running at 6046 polys so it would be possibel provided you used it as a hero ship and didn't build a bunch of em.

Well, I finally located the ole A1 disc and reisntalled it and the 1.2 patch. Then applied this new patch. As advertised, the wide screen mode works on some configurations (settings) but not others. 1680 x 1050 looked absolutely wonderful on screen. Unfortunately, the graphics tearing and flickering...

Thanks MAP. Mine exhibited grapics tearing and made playing the game impossible. I am anxious to try out the new patch and see if/what happens. I am running a wide screen monitor so that yoo will be interesting to see what the new patch does.

For A1 models you can use the Storm 3d tool and easily see where all of the HPs are at. It takes a bit of time but once you get the hang of it, you should be fine
