Darth_Windu,

You need to map it to a different texture file. I believe the stock torpedo file use Wphoton.tga as the basic graphic.

MAP,

As AFC never released the one he was working on, perhaps he'd be willing to turn it over to you and you all could issue one together. As I recall he had made a lot of improvements to the moons, maps and the like. Just a thought.

Here are some that will work. They were all setup for A1 just posted into the wrong section of this site. https://www.armadafleetcommand.com/afc/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=1649 https://www.armadafleetcommand.com/afc/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid...

You might also give this one a try. It is incorrectly posted under the A2 files section but in reality it is for A1.

I think when playing via a LAN all players have to have the same version of Armada so you might want to check for that as well. I have had the best success when all players on the LAN had there own version of the CD in the tray.

You might also benefit from opening up stock models and looking at their heirarchy. Some people open up a stock model, delete all the mesh parts but keep the exsiting heirarchy and save it as a Milkshape file. When they are ready to hardpoint they merge this file into theres and edit instead of crea...

Hint #1: Google is a powerful search engine. Hint #2: Many of the model you find in Armanda I and 2 have come from other games. Folks like yourself have taken a liking to them and converted them (after permissions of course). Hint #3: Milkshape, a graphics program and a little hard work is all it ta...

If money is tight, you might want to take a look at using GIMP. I beleive it is free and can save tga 24 bit files.

Have you investigated other games like Star Fleet Command to see if that community might have made them...you'd have to convert them of course.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the Milkshape application or the exporter. I have seen this before and it sounds more like a texture problem to me. 1) Did you make the textures yourself? If so, what application did you use? Sometimes paintshop pro has a problem with tga. I don't know what...

jetnova, I applaud your determination but unfortunately I am thinking you are barking up a dead tree. First, the followers of the game are next to nil these days. Second, AFC followers are just about extinct as well. Lastly, I think if you want this mod to succeed you are really doing to have to dig...

Most likely this is due to a sod hierarchy problem. A quick check: 1) open your saved model in Milkshape 2) Delete the exsisting hierarchy 3) Export the model to the sod format and put the sod and texture files into the proper locations) 4) See if you can now view it in the Storm 3d application (vie...
