Alright, I've finished the entire saucer section of the ship at 598 polies. I made some improvments from the original mostly the bridge module and sensor dome. Much better so far don't you agree?

Ok, heres some closeups of the missles in action against the Kelvin. Interesting that it starts out as one warhead and then has about 8-12 mini warheads that scatter off of it that turns it from a normal missle into a barrage weapon. Some more pics. The Enterprise going through a debris field of a fallen starship. Ok, here is the second set of pics. A closeup of the Enterprise approaching the Narada. Two things here. One(the more obviously of the two), this clip was flipped and then some. Does Blender support smoothing groups? You'd need far fewer segments on curved surfaces to give the impression of a high-poly model if you use smoothing. You'll find that it's easier to create low poly models with these also. No groups, just a pair of buttons(look at the bottom left of the above sc...
