MVAM Promethius - Testers Wanted

Post by Atlantis » Tue Dec 21, 2004 1:31 pm

Ok, so i've thought of this new angle of how MVAM could be done, and it currently works pretty well.

I need testers to tell me
- if it works (my a2 cd is broke, so i can't alphatest it myself
- how cool it looks
- improvements

Currently i have working models etc, but no textures, and i've got the odf's sorted but not done yet.

Wow - I'm aboard too if that's OK! If it works as well as it sounds, then you definitely may provide a new hope for the further modding of Armada beyond what has already been done! Hey, you never know!

Ok, i've got a few things to sort out for the alpha, and send the Alpha/Beta to probably about 3 of you, then when we've got that working, release the Beta with all the bells n whistles (ship textures (the alpha isn't textured) build buttons, wireframes, installer), which with any luck should work.

if someone could email me an unmodded sprites/gui_global.spr and tech/tech1.tt, that'd be real helpful right about now - doug_27_mobley#freakmail.de)

Ah thanks :-) I couldn't find an email address for you, i've sent it to your Yahoo address, i think.

@S618-18741: You'll see ;) It's not perfect, but it's a way that no-one seems to have done yet.

Anyone else notice that both of the Proms in that pic are in the same formation? Could it be that it's just the sod built in 3 separate sections with a separate firing hardpoint for each section? I hope I'm wrong, just an observation.
