Hi people!
First: Ship pack #01 RELEASED!
THIS is the Minotaur class cruiser. I designed it as a replacement for the Hyperion class. It is a ship from the era right after the civil war, where many Hyperions were destroyed and it was clear, that the Hyperion is not longer state of the art, even if refitted to the Midwinter subtype. The Minotaur is a short time replacement, until the Lupo class comes in service. THIS IS A DESIGN BY ME.

Because I have a lot to do with the I-War mod and the subs for the SQ mod, it will need some time to the next release, but I post some designs here, that will be in the next pack.

Hi again. Her is the WIP for the Hyperion and its subtypes:

Here is the drawing from one of the sybtypes, the Endurance Hyperion (Modinfications of the original Hyperion made by me.)

Basically it is a ship for fire support and artillery assignments, like the Nova, but cheaper and faster. I will post a detailed descibtion when it is finished.

are they a little tad too high for Armada?

Yep, they look pretty good though. Armada may end up going "errgh errrgh argghg" with that though. :lol:

Maybe the poly count is a bit too high,
but 22 people already thought "hey, I give it a try!", and that's it.
It runs well on my machine and it will run well on other machines.
The Nova is high poly, YES! BUT: ONE Nova can take out the unmodded USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E or ANY other warship from an unmodded A2 game with one or two blasts and so you don't need twenty Novas in Game. Build four or five, supply the with support units like the Oracle or the Lupo and put them together into a fleet and let the enemy look into your 18 dual plasma turrets per Nova and feel FEAR.
8472 makes a run for, I can tell you!

Okay, there are 30 hits for the ship pack.
The next one is under way. Are there ANY ships, besides the Warlock, that do not have any rotating sections the community wants to have as a model. IF there is one, please put link with it to a drawing of the ship, if possible.

Babylon 5 Technologies Pack!
Why do that? Actually, because I do not want to pack the weapon sounds, the textures and odfs and sprite describtions into every single zip-file I release, I do a b5 tech pack, where most of the needed Tech is included. ANY modder wishing to do a Babylon 5 ship is free to use this pack for the weapon systems of his ship, BUT I want to be mentioned in the Credits.
This pack is not the best of weapon texturing available, but I don't think that my weapons are too bad. ;-)

Don't worry about your weapons what you may or may not realise is your a good ship builder with a good eye for detail.

Intrepid. I would suggest you go back and sort out the meshes. Whilst they do look good, you have got alot of unecessary polys in them. I'll post an example shortly.
