I've got to convert them beforehand, and its up to you. You can either do a generic standard installation readme of include the files. Its your choice.

Anyway, to edit this reply, Below are images of the new Mantis Class. Poly count is aroun 3400 polys less than the original and now stands at 2433 polys.

Awesome stuff. I am not all that much into Armada anymore, but I will certainly be downloading and playing this mod when you release it. :D

Fed ships galore!!!

Another update and quite a good one as far as I'm concerned. The top one is an unedited Norway Class (P81's version). This is an excellent example of a model from him. Its around 1200 polys and uses two high detailed and very clean texture maps. The others are variants of the Nebula class. Whilst the one thats already buildable is the generalised version (heavy weapons pod), two of these three are well known:

- Top is the Melbourne refit with additional twin nacelles. This will give the ship far better manouverability and speed that most other ships.
- Middle one is the Pheonix with a Sensor Pod. Of course this will give the ship a much larger LOS and it'll also allow the ship to detect any cloaked vessel.
- The bottom two images are of a new design pod (suggested and named by Mathew Hooker: Creator of the Mantis Class above). Its basically a medical triarge pod (with independant shuttle bay), and as such for the moment this will allow the ship to carry a better version of the fed repair team, and it might also allow another new special weapon (havent' thought about this just yet though.

Anyway, heres the pics:

That is becoming an excellent lineup of ships there MaP. It's going to reign in as one of the best mods ever at this rate.

I like what MaP does, but the Norway class textures are not as good in my opinion as they are sort of bright, but I could have looked at a darker texture for too long.

 Give me the USS Arizona! (Are all ships of this class named after WWII battleships?)
What kind of mission profile does it have?
Fighting member of the Four Star Alliance!
It has begun...
