Three Federation Starbases, though the Feds are getting old.

Post by Epytron_Omega » Mon Dec 19, 2005 1:46 am

Well everyone, I have a few screenshots of some starbases that i have been playing around with, one of which is modular, but then again it has to be cause of its poly count. Anyway, I just want it known that the original design for the basic version came from www.ussmiranda.com , as it had this design on it and I really liked it. The large modual version will have a shipyard attatched to it, and before anyone goes and says it, I do believe that I have a way around the whole 'Pods cant build' error, but Im going to test it before I release it. Anyway, onto the pics.

two basic versions:
Right: Original version seen on ussmiranda.com
Left: Modified version so frieghters can dock
Ships: Seelholf Class x1, Viselli Class x1, Renegade Class x1, Serpent Class x1

Modular Version:
Station itself is about 20000 polies, so if I do release it, you better have a good comp
Ships: St. Valentine Class x1, Deathscythe Fighter x3, Omen Class x1, Typhoon Class x1, Diamond Star Class x1

Excellent work as always EO. Those are an interesting use of native parts/textures. Way to go.

I like that Typhon class a lot. It looks like the most accurate one yet, I hope you release it for download.

I like those. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see if you are about to get the whole pods can't build error corrected.

ok so I have done a basic export of the Modular version, its not modular anymore, I have given it a shipyard though to build ships, and have put it in as the starting base so that there wouldnt be to many polies on the screen, and I must say that it looks very good, big too like it should be. anyway I have a screenshot of it, so you call all see what it looks like ingame, and when I get the hardpoints on it then I will be sure to release it.
