hello. this is an ai fleet for my personal mod. as you can see on the minimap, this is only half of the fleet. do you like the number of ships they use to attack?

not bad, about the same size as one of my AI battlegroups :P kleotol once gave me a great rule to go by.

For each ship built on a line make sure there is a shipyard so if

"fbattle", 1,0, then just one fyard 2

"fbattle", 3,0, make sure you have 3 otherwise you are slowing down other contstuctions. say you wanted 8 sovereigns and only four yards put something between them like this.

"fbattle", 4,0,
"fcruise1", 3,0,
"fturret", 2,2,
"fbase", 1,2,
"fbattle", 3,0,

yep, it's really not very hard if you use the "kleotol rule".
this only took half an hour.
Another thing that worked well for me was to set the attack power in each ship's odf pretty low so that the ai thinks that they aren't worth much and uses a lot to attack a base.

In the race AI files,just increase the number of attack power and base defense.And the number of ships to use for each.

With the above I get 45 to 50 ships coming at me,with another 25 guarding it's base.

it didn't work that well for me, although I did that for my ai too of course.[/u]

well, I'm not going to release this mod, but I've just got Milkshape and I'm making my own ships now and starting a mod. problem is that I'm still having problems cause I can't see the ships. when I get that fixed, and finish the mod, i may release that one.
