gorgeous, just gorgeous. do you mind if I light her up with lightmaps and release her for A2 for you? or maybe to have as a part of my mod that Im releasing?

Ship looks more like a destroyer than a ship-of-the-line (which would require a high-poly count). It's not a far stretch to see a whole wing of these going after a larger ship in-game, but the polies make that seem unlikely. Just seems like it would be more suited to a smaller size. Possibly an evolution of the Intrepid-class.

Not that I'm knocking the craftsmanship, but it just seems like too much detail for a Fed ship.

As I understand it pepperman takes very high poly gorgeous designs and makes them managable in A2. Granted the poly count is high but there are far far worse. What is also considered is that with computers significantly better than they were when a2 was released, you can be more generous with your polys. Finally, it makes no difference as to the cost of the ship as to what poly limit you should assign as people generally build more battleships than destroyers while playing anyways.

PS: An extremely beautiful model Pepperman, I definitely want to find a use for that.

Is this one for A1 or A2 ? I added it to A1 , did everything in the readme, and just get a black screen now when I try to play some instant action ;o

The one released here is for A1. You can find both version over at Armada 2 Files. When you say you got a blank screen, do you mean it crashed the game or that the model came out blank.

just a black screen, no loading :), game just hangs, needs a hard reboot (aka reset button) to get back in to windows ;f

go back and look at the files you changed and pay particular attention to anything with " or missing "
