better hp viewer
Is there one? A better way of looking at HardPoints? I have UTMV, but I don'e find it user friendly. Or it just plain doesn't like me... Why bother you ask? I am a perferctionist, I care if the phaser looks like it's coming from the bridge

The non-stock importer was relaesed on the A2files forum a while back.
One member, Book IIRC, decided that the time had come to release the non-stock importer to the comunity. I beleive many of his reasons were sound but it was unfair to take this action without first openning the discution up to the community.
In any case there was a huge fight over on the A2f forums but the genie was already out of the bottle.

Storm 3D is about as simple as it gets for viewing HPs for A1 models.
The code for the nonstock A1/A2 Milkshape plugis has always been open source and included with with the Milkshape plug in download. Just fund a mate who knows C++ coding, removing the offending lines and recomplie the plugins and you should be good to go.

was actually hoping to find a torrent on it... hehehe but no such luck... and I am only view anyways, so no need to save. Or is it supposed to be possible to move the hard points as well? Cause I am noticing that some of the positions on some of the ships is just wacked. I was looking at the Enterprise Z, even contacted the creator. It's hard points are UNDER the ship, no where close to the hull.... um yeah...
