Mesh problem

Post by pepperman »

I duplicated a mesh that i was working on and accidently group it together with its parent. Anyone know of an easy way to seperate them back out. This is in Milkshape by the way.

Undo? If thats too late then no, i dont know an easy way. Hide as much of the rest of the mesh as possible so that you dont accidentally select other faces and try to select the right faces and put them into new groups, one by one. If they are facing different directions then you can just use ignore backfaces. If the faces' vertexes are not in the same spot the you can select by vertex. Its a checkbox right under ignore backfaces.
