Armada I music can be modded!

  • Use .wav files only.
There are free utility software to convert mp3 files to wav (you'll see the file size increase alot when you convert into .wav).
Keep the file under 50 MB.
Lower the file size if it does not play. You can use Microsoft Sound Recorder to change the .wav file size and properties (like a slower Kilobytes/second rate).
Over write existing music files by using the same name.

Well, that answers a question I had in a different thread. Could you tell us where we can download this free software? There are some SFC3 music tracks I badly want to convert to something Armada will read.

There are many free converters out there. Just google Free Sound Converters and you will find many pages with freeware converters.
