Future Tense Borg Unicomplex

Post by Phantom » Sun Oct 03, 2004 9:09 am

Okay, I thought building the Scimitar was a pain in the butt but I think that I have found something even more taxing which is great. A challenge again. Anyhow,

Since the Borg are in Future Tense. they will have only 1 station, capable of building ships, assimilating resources, and protecting her magisty.

This thread will show off the new Borg Unimatrix as seen in:

Star Trek Voyager's Dark Frontier / Unimatrix Zero / End Game

Feel free to post a constructive suggestion

Will the Unimatrix be able to have multiple build points and docking areas? It's pretty cool looking - yeah, I'd say the poly count is quite good for this one. I almost forgot what the Queen's Unimatrix looked like.

The Unicomplex in total will have about 20 build locations all building various stations, facilities and vessels :)

Very nice, Phantom. Also isn't the complex like ten times bigger and thousands of substructures as well?

Once I see the entire thing done, I'll be impressed. Not before. :P

Seriously, it looks quite well modelled, but ir's difficult to tell without the texture. Add a texture and you'll get more comments :P

Well after a few hours of making various maps, I have found one that is a near match to that of the show

Now to make the rails, trams and other structures :P

Those new textures are awesome and scary! It's no moon - it's a space station! Sure brings me back to those Voyager episodes with the Queen's unimatrix!

Are these substations that are part of the Unimatrix connected as pods? I tell ya - if they are, they sure fit together very well! Awesome textures, Phantom!
