Please note that these images are being displayed as people want to see WIP images of ingame models and areas. For the moment we are final testing special weapons. "Special" specials have been blacked out at this time for reasons to ensure the player still gets the "aww" factor when they play...

Please also note that the images displayed are running on the standard Armada. So map units are not yet in place so they will look like "Future Tense units" in normal Armada. This however will change later on when the new nebulas and units are constructed and beta tested :)

For the mean time - Enjoy, and more will be updated at later dates to keep people up to date. The eventual thread will show how far Future Tense will convert Armada into something flash and renewed :) - well hopefully anyway haha.

Here we go

1st test at the Galaxy Class' Deflector Burst that has caused the team endless hours of worry - though I still can't understand why it was so hard to build lol:

Effects like damage multipliers needs sorting as at the moment it just knocks off about 60% shields.

I have decided to leave Porty's GUI on show in these images as I feel its hide time people get a taster into Future Tense's GUI - Again WIP atm.

A Sovereign Class leaves spacedock:

(NOTE: all Quantum torpedoes are special weapons. Bursts and Spreads inclusive)

Tri-Cobalt Device

Wouldnt be an Intrepid without one :) Basic sprite, though needs some work. Nice area weapon as it'll damage anything within the explosion.

I see you used yunkyard for your pics.
It's just a suggestion, but can you leave the map units on this map as they are. This way you get a map filled with old junk map units. It doens't make sense to have a map junkyard as the derelict ships are new types.

We have a few ideas,

There will be a map that will have a Federation Decommission Yard. So you may just find a few 'special' ships amongst the wrecks to salvage if you can get their systems online.

But stuff like the Norway and Achilles are designated 'rare' types so they will be map unit ships. If you can obtain one, then your shipyards will be able to build them. Sorta how the old Command and Conquer works.

EG. You find an Excelsior Class on one of the maps and rebuild her up. The Federation Shipyards will then allow you to build Excelsior Class vessels.
