Cause there are some really dated Screenshot posts I thought a new one was in order.

This thread is for ALL the Future Tense members (not just me guys come on) to display to you guys Future Tense in its final months. After 2 months of GUI problems, crashes in the tech trees (I had to employ Tech E. Coyote from the Loonatics to give a hand and gave him a Cameo to say thanks), but Future Tense is on full steam ahead once more.


New GUI is available for all races now, all ranging from styles and designs from a complete Federation worktop console, to a Borg Assimilated screen with attaching nanoprobic controls.


The new Weapon Systems have also been corrected. Players can have up to 7 Special Weapons. Slot 7 of which uses the newly edited Warp Drive functions which applies to all ships with Nacelles.



Here are a few of the Federation anyway whist the Borg and the other races have their bugs ironed out of them. Due to the bugs, and now a lot of the team going away, we are suffering once again - but unsurprising delays (Will we ever launch!). Right now the main problems are with mission code. With so much of it hardcoded, getting around it now with edits to the map files in the editor, the AI for the maps and other files in the misc. folders and what not I am told is proving to be tiresome.



But enough talk. Cause of further delays I believe it's time to be more hands on and show more production cells of Future Tense, so people know its under construction and on maximum warp to the finish.

Mod stands at around 90% ish with the Borg and Romulans as the only races holding back game wise - the rest is map items and a few voice files.

A Construction Ship completes work on Stage 1 Refit System upgrader. (The Tech tree edits failed else all 3 would be present - a correction that has been corrected for the next set :))

A Ronin Class' Weapons are refited to the Weapon panel one-by-one as Starfleet upgrade and modify Federation systems throught the fleet

Completely awesome in the most complete way that anything can be awesome. Completely. Seriously though, I love the new Fed GUI.

It has been know that Future Tense will convert Armada into a very different game, so new menu's seemed appropriate:

Lmao ! , i think ill send the NX-01 into battle as the flagship of the 1st attack wave :D , Give Archer a fleet

Looking great , i can just see the Galaxy refited using its phaser cannon on a borg cube :twisted:

8O wow, just incredibly awesome...i haven't much more to say, but i will say that the new gui and the main menu will have me gawking at the screen, haha! once again, excellent job so far and keep up the good work!

can see 1 is gonna have a real bad day when i get ahold of this , destruction is a great asset after all :D

Btw for the borg screens , can you show some weapons being used against there adaptive armor ?

i agree...the concept with the adaptation of the borg in this game is impressive. i want to see the borg do what they do best, other than assimilate mad14.gif of course, i'll say 'please?' lol
