That would be what was formerly the crew dot. It appeared beside the crew bar and turned yellow or green if a ship lost crew. So, strictly speaknig it is not a system; but, I thought it should be displayed along with the systems.

The Romulan gui has a slightly different way of displaying the crew dot :)

Something I was wondering after examining the gui a little more, where is the bar that shows the shield status? I noticed that the 'wireframe' display changes colors, does that reflect the shield status, or is it something else?

The shield status is the blue bar above the wireframe.

It will go down (or up) pending on what is happening with the shields

The Special Energy is located under the officers and race logo

On buildings or anything else, it is listed as 'progress status' and the bar will grow to represent construction progress :)

HERE'S THE ROMULANS!!!

Post by Phantom » Wed Jul 04, 2007 4:48 pm

Thought since we have seen lots of the Federation, I'd introduce some of the Romulans. (The Website Romulan list has been updated).

I have also given a sneaky peak to a few Remans too:

The revised Armada Starbase - Future Tense Style :P (Credits to MaP and Achilles)

The Romulan Raptor braves its way into the Galaxy for the first time...

The larger yards begin to build larger Romulan Battleships

... And another! (Credits to Atolm/Azel for the models above and below)

A familiar vessel comes to assist...

A Noxerian sets course for a nearby world...

The Noxerian on a full 3D Angle:

A Romulan Scout moves ahead to scout the terrain...

Raptors and the Griffin - The Romulans and Remans compare their strike cruisers...

The Reman Bird of Prey sets speed for battle...

You may notice that the new Romulan GUI is radically different from any GUI in previous Armada Mods, or other games. Below is a map for you to look at to discover where everything has been sorted and positioned for the Romulan/Reman maps of control....

:)

Scimitar coming soon...

Very impressive work on the GUI and the Units, you all have put a lot into this, and it's finally paying off :D

The most unique GUI i've seen.
Happy trails to you...except without the "till we meet again" part...

yeah , makes A2 look brand new !

Cant wait for that scimitar to decloak ;) , has everything a warship should , Very high offence , Great defences (2 shields and a perfect cloak ) and can dodge torpedo shots ( rare for a ship that size :P )

*jaw drop* Wow, thats really different from what I was expecting. It might take some getting used to, but it'll certainly get rid of the monotony of pressing the exact same buttons in the exact same place over and over again for every race.

Thought I'd upload a couple more :)

Buffed up to higher Resolution, slowed down a fraction but made better quality:

A Beauty shot of the USS Voyager [Virtual Voyager's 74656-A]

A Khitomer returns home...

This still remains my favourite model I have built in the past couple of years :)

The Voyager tries to evacuate a Nova Class before she explodes...

Never fear, Dr. Crusher is here.... - oh dear (Wesley bashers f*** off :P)

There is something wrong with this picture...

An easy way of assessing Tactical Strengths of a fleet (Very useful to evade/stratagize against the Borg)

The Lone Ginsu...

More will follow :)

I come back to check these forums after two years on other games and I'm amazed, FT is still here and still promising release soon. God I hope it comes true. Nice work.
