Some of the 'older' models are undergoing a slight detail enhancement as they stand out negatively in comparison with newer detailed models. This thread will home some of the new textures on the older models.

the galaxy looks great wot other models are getting retextured

The Galaxy is still being done (now has saucer side details). At the moment its being rigged up with the new damage modifiers to the hull too so when it's shields are down u can inflict physical damage (like holes on the hull or mangle the nacelles to slow the ship down to a crawl or a full stop)


Next is the Voyager Class as its the worst of the fleet texture wise.

Its mainly light touch ups. The Moscow undercarrage needs doing, the Saber also needs some tweaks :)


Its only those that 'really' need it cause they look poop compared to the newer units

Are you having the same series of texture appearance for all Starfleet ships? As in many other mods had ships had completely different looks and some were animated even which just makes the entire fleet look so ugly.

When its done, all the revised versions should tie in with the others so they'll all have similar markings, colors, etc etc.

I no what u mean, some mods have render textures on some ships, then bitmap looking ones on others lol. FT's wont be like that :)

how often do you want to "re-texture" or "re-construc" the ships in your mod?

its only those that despritely need doing before they are hardpointed with the new FT sprites and fixtures :) There are only a couple anyhow.

i think its great that ur revivisting the textures to make sure that they all tie in with each other otherwise the quality may suffer

Managed to get my hands on a Nemesis Spec shot, few elements I didnt realize (I modeled from watching the DVD). So I have rebuilt her to the shots :) now shes ready for action in her true Nemesis form :)
