I probably should've done this a while ago but I decided that I was taking up way too much space sorting all of this out in a topic that was meant to be about recruiting. Besides, no one seems to have checked that topic in a while and I needed to make sure that Phantom knew I was still continuing. If my last post on the matter was in fact overlooked, I posted a shot of a model for a Breen Starbase that I finally was able to come up with, as well as a fairly unflattering shot of a Destroyer model. I also inquired as to how best to take the 'spec shots' that were requested of me some time ago. I really didn't know how they should be done, and I should have probably said so in the first place. Here are some shots anyway: if I'm doing them wrong somehow or they need to be labeled or each piece have its own multi-angled picture or whatever, then please let me know.
(Removed)
And here's the pictures that I mentioned of the other units.
That's all folks.

That's cool. You are the only one to have committed to continued helping at this point the others in that topic haven't gotten back to me yet which is a unfortunate. I was monitoring the topic and left feedback

By Spec Shot, I mean something like this:
The starbase looks very nice
not quite sure what the first picture is about though but you really need to weld the points together (control+n) and apply a smoother it'll get rid of the dark shades (control+w) I like the 408 poly cruiser too

Adam,

Awesome, the spec shot thing is much easier than I imagined. My only problem is that I don't know anything about MSNing and stuff, only e-mail (now that college is out, this site is about the only thing I use the internet for). Heck, maybe MSN is nothing more than email; I just don't know. I guess you'll have to clue me in there. Anyhow, the first picture was another "spec-shot" as I understood the term in smooth-shaded mode. Whenever I do a smoothing it usually seems to have little or no effect (my Milkshape has always been a bit buggy), but I'll try. It's good to hear from you again on these matters; expect correct spec shots shortly.
...roughly a day later...
I removed the incorrect specs and here are the correct ones:

? I thought you wanted spec shots because you could somehow use them to show me texture tricks, but for as long as I kept you waiting for the shots you might have forgotten that you asked for them in the first place (Laugh Out Loud and whatnot). I'd still be glad to know anything you can teach me about texturizificating stuff.
Hello. Well I believe that the standard Federation textures are exemplary. The Sovereign class has excellent contrast and usage of different grays. For example I cannot imagine Voyager looking quite the same in gold, it would just seem un-natural! As for resistance being futile - - - Nuh uh!!

I also made a recreation of the canon Breen ship yesterday; it's going to be one of their cruisers. Will post pictures of it sometime.
