Nothing 'too' exciting until I figure out how to 'record' ingame stuff so its limited to GIF frames atm :/

But I keep getting asked to post an animated screenshot so here you go :P

The Sov is as illustrated, the damaged version looks better as the nacelles are flickering and on fire, looks sweet lol

Time for another sneaky peaky animated piccie.....


Gotta love the new Turret mod, they turn range the weapons and are a little more versatile when it comes to selecting a single or multiple targets - And they rotate to face the baddie! (please note quality has been dropped incase theres any 56k users as the image is basically to show case the new turret ability which lots of people here on AFC have been dying to know if it is at all possible to have turrets respond like this.....

Its only in Future Tense to my knowledge at a guess since everyones been asking on forums if you can make turrets move. Full credit goes to Taras (Mr.Vulcan) as he got it working bug free before I did :P


Next test will be creating a turret that moves, cloaks and does heavy damage for the Romulans :P

um, i dont want to sound insulting or anything, but isnt a turret SUPPOSED to be stationary?

They are stationary, they rotate around now as illustrated :)

Hi, it's been a long time since I've been able to look on this site. I love the pix, but is it just me or are eight signal lights on the saucer section a bit much? Love the turret.

Hi, dragonbreath

The signal lights are a bit too large. We thought so too and have since made them smaller. There are still 8 pairs of them on the saucer, but they're subtle and look much better. :)

Also, just to clarify, the turrets only rotate and can't really go anywhere. However, if you can disable their thrusters, you'll be able to tow or push the turrets aside ;)
