Ok so I made two models (seaquest Mod) updated feb 22 '05

Post by rodglas » Mon Feb 14, 2005 12:01 am

So I've been waiting for Phantom to build me the seaQuest for a while now and before that I was bugging Straxus. So I figured why not try to do it myself.

Its my first finished model, and I'll need to tinker for a few weeks ar more before I'm really satisfied but I actually did it.

So what do you think?

Look great!
Though the 8000+ poly count is a bit scary!
(Though if its the only one in the game, I guess it wont effect gameplay much)

True, but I plan on tinkering that number down a little.

Well if you got a nearly ready DSV I will try to get a few more things done more quickly for the mod. (Though mostly map objects, map backgrounds and animations)

SO I've don some tinkering and then I started over. I think this will be the "final" version of the SQ though I may need some help with better texturing.

The poly count is massivly reduced from the original its the same texture taken from an image made for me by JJWard of Atlantis ASV
