I was trying to simulate an atmospheric entry... a violent one
. The ship is the Rodger young-type from Starship Troopers. Anyhoo, comments? crits? I know it doesent have a background, it's supposed to be more like a test then a scene.

I would imagine it being perfect with a visibile crack at the front, but, it's still pretty damn good from this and I doubt I'd br able to do that too quickly,

I think for more realism every protrusion should have redness from heat, like the engine pods and tower on top.

Perhaps a little more smoke and heat trails from the nose would add a touch of detail. Otherwise, it looks pretty damn good.
