This is my first effort with video post so I thought I'd see how it came out, I am aware the pulses need work.

The ship is excellent, but I can't quite say the same for the weapons. The pulses look sort of strange and you should add some sort of flare around the beam firing point.

Hey Achilles, Great work, and the ship is great! here are a few pointers for weapons:

-For the pulses, and the beam, they should have a white, or very brightly colored center, and the glow should be what indicates the color.

-For the pulses, a motion blur will sometimes go a long way to hide that it's mesh. Also giving them a light lense flare will make them look cool.

-The background is pretty nice, I like it. don't change it :P

-Use 2 glows on the beams and pulses, one, the inner glow should have a whiter starting point on the gradient, and the second one should be 2-3 times larger, with muvh higher softness. shig giges it a really nice saturated glow look.

Man that is one ugly mo-fo. Is it avail for download?

You're red phaser looks too "solid" almost like it's a straw sticking out rather thana beam of eneergy. If you can blur any of the ships lighting a tad it'd give the feel of it making a run on a target rather than sitting there and shooting.

starforce2: don't mean to be a moderator, but that's not really to the topic.
achilles: that is a pretty nice ship with an amazing texture as everyone has already said, the pulses and beam need work. Simply increasing the glow intensity of the glow around the weapons ought to do the trick. perhaps also increase luminosity on the meshes of the weapons. and as josy's said, ad a little blur to the image.
