I thought it was a great episode. The last 5 minutes were interesting. People have speculated that future guy got enterprise out of the way by sending them to the expanse to change the timeline. But even in the expanse time would be altered - so enterprise wouldn't exist. It doesnt matter where enterprise is it would still be affected by the time change. Even the vulcans would have sent ships to attack the weapon, where were they?. Golden gate bridge was built in 1937 so we can assume that they are in between 1939 and 1945(WW2). As the season ends we are left with several questions.

Where were intrepid, and the other two starfleet ships from "the expanse"?
How did Archer get on Earth?
Who was the alien? + What species?

I have a theory.

What if the expanse was set in a different time frame?(Say 1944 for example) Enterprise enters the expanse from 2154. When they send communications out of the expanse they are sent in 2154. But when the spheres are destroyed it keeps them in the expanse time frame.
Enterprise destroyed the spheres before the weapon was destroyed and after the yosemite was destroyed, which could explain why there were no reinforcements from starfleet/vulcan - as when the spheres were destroyed they were in the expanse time frame. Perhaps the alien on earth beamed archer down. This might get the andorians back in next seasons premiere, as they might go home and realize that they are 200 years in the past.

What do you people think?

Also just to add(after watching it again) when the reptilians destroyed yosemite 3 the stars behind it changed. What sort of research were they doing?

It seems that the only way to answer most of those question, is we have to wait until next season. As for that station, I bet it was the only thing they could come up with, seeing how B&B seem to have run out of steam (in the creative department). But how do you tell them to give the reigns to someone else? Maybe, if all the fans that helped call in to save enterprise could now call in to save enterprise from B&B.

they are getting some new writers for season 4, so there will be more creativity.

Theory about a few things:
1. when the xindi weapon exploded, either the explosion sent Archer back in time to earth or the "future guy" used the explosion as a cover to save Archer and send him back in time.
2. The future guy sent Enterprise back in time to save Archer... like he did earlier in the episode to bring Archer to the signing of the Federation.. Archer just went through one door way to the future. So that's what he did with Enterprise.

What I didn't like about the episode:
1. Like everyone else, where the heck were the Earth ships?!?!? Like the ones that helped Enterprise with the Klingon ship just before they went to the expanse.
2. The Vulcans just let their arch-enemy (no pun intended) fly right into a system they have a interest in? I mean Earth is a "friend" of the Vulcans.
3. That space fight near Earth took so long anyone could have come to help. Vulcan ships or other earth ships.
4. Wasn't the next NX ship being built orbating Earth???
5. [EDIT] Earth was under possible destruction from the Xindi for a year!, why aren't there ANY kinds of defenses... Wouldn't you build something?

What would be great is that this last episode of the season set a theme for next year where ww2 ended badly and sets up a timeline for the mirrior universe, where earth and vulcan formes an empire. It would simply fix all the poop that Berman and Brag did to the Star Trek timeline.

That makes sense. But we'll find out in the future.

I can deal with the lame(Oh, here we go again! ) WW2 and Nazis cliffhanger, but not this alien Nazis poop! It seems B&B didn't learn they lesson from the Hirogen Nazis  Will somebody finally please save ST from these 2?

On with this Xindi arc... wouldn't it be alot easier for the Xindi - in the beginning - to simply destroy Earth with the final completed weapon rather then send the protype? They had surprise on their hands. Why attack with a protype - allowing surviors and retalition - when you can wipe them all out with a single strike? No mess, no fuss and none of this derivative nonsense served up for most of this season.

Berman and Brag knows nothing about writing and it seems as if they were Goosebumps writers. A new piece of poop every week.

Just dump these last 3 season and either make this series seriously dark and have it in an alternate universe which is new and origional.

The damage has been done to the contunity of star trek, and damage has been done to the fans devotion to the series. Now it's time to either fix it or just make the whole series non-cannon.

Berman and Brag either has to fix it (which they dont know how, because of their IQ of 78) or they have to "retire" (recieve a two week's notice)

could it be that the alien at the end was a male sphere builder? maybe as the women ones were helping the xindi, the males had gone back to the 30s and fiddled with the Nazis

doubtful, as we already see what a male sphere builder looks like (test subject in earlier episode)

My theory is:

Archer is cruital to the future of the Federation so Daniels transported him in time, presumably to his time but with the weapon exploding, it may have caused interference with the temporal transporter

Since Daniels no longer can withstand physical form as the sulibon destroyed his body, it is logical to assume that Daniels sent Enterprise back to rescue archer.

As for this alien in a Nazi outfit, my guess is that it is another faction of the Temporal Cold War. But im surprised that the germans didnt notice anything odd about him lol

Was funny seeing a shuttlepod being shot at by 3 Mustangs though hehe

But while Enterprise has been away, presumably the Temporal War has continued and Enterprise may have been sent for another reason to saving Archer like returning the aliens to their own time like they did with the Xindi in Carpenter Street

I loved the ending, although the Nazi thing was just plain weird.
