I can't wait to see what happens when we get full proof!

Let's now place bets on what they'll do about it! :P

The Proof Ladies and Gentlemen gathered by me with the ideas and enthusiasm from a few others shall hence be revealed.

The first piece of evidence uncovered was in fact in a disassembly of a file other then the main flops exe:

As you can see, this is a concentration of various errors in the code. Anyone who has some programming knowledge will know that these are realated to patching a file's code at runtime. When I discovered these I immediatly knew that this was a patcher, but I still could not yet confirm that it patched the armada2.tgt file. (Which I might add, is the armada2 standard .exe file renamed to .tgt and included with the Flops installer)

The second piece of evidence, an error message BTW, suggests that the patcher requires the armada2.tgt file be in the same directory:

Now for some, this would have instantly proven that it patched the armada2.tgt file, but I needed more.

The third and forth pieces of evidence are again error messages;

These were shown when I replaced the armada2.tgt file with a falty version.
I believe these confirm that fact that the armada2 exe file (in .tgt format) is being patched at runtime. Now for what reason I do not know, maybe adding or unlocking classLabels, nebulas, anything.

I did however manage to dump the armada2.tgt file after its patching and the file size went from 3.46mb to 3.97mb. As you can see, that is quite an increase. I checked over the file with various text and hex editors and one file comparer.
After its patching, the armada2.tgt file had approximately 564 lines of data added (minus 3 lines near the start that have been added by the dumping program) and about 50 lines have been modified in some way.

I have attemped to trace the the errors in the first image to find residual fragments of source code but due to the file being compressed by UPX and patched by a program called "Yoda's Process Patcher", most of the data is Inaccessible.
This seems to me like someone was trying to cover their tracks, but I do have one thing to say to them, You're good, but I'm better. 8)

Well, thats all from me folks, which ever side you take is up to you, I can only present the evidence.

EDIT:
Here is a zip with all the images in this post as well as the patched and unpatched versions of armada2.exe for comparison.

I encourage each person who reads this thread to contact either Activision or Maddoc or both regarding this matter. Maybe in numbers we can make a difference.

Elrond. Can we please not directly and publically accuse a member of another forum or group. Whether this is true or not, you could cause far more harm than good in doing so.

Therefore, with this in mind, I have taken a necessary step to edit your reply content.

On a more personal note. Accusations are not to be made by ANYONE concerning this matter until proven to be 100% correct.
