I would want the Enterprise-B.

The ST-III Enterprise A was not a new refit from the Enterprise of ST I and II, it was the Yorktown, sister ship of the Enterprise renamed the Enterprise-A for Kirk.

I would like to command a specialy designed Iowa-Class Battleship, the hull is made out of adamantium, instead of props, at the back of the ship it would have federation style impulse engines on the back and there are no warp nacelles the warp engines are also built in the back, so the design stays as close as possible to the original as possible, no phasers or photon/qantum torpedos, just the good 'ol slug throwers just so you know what i have on this ship: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa_class_battleship

give that a good reading, Borg not adapt to those.

why is that stupid, at least i came up with something semi-original and not just a list of starships, sometimes you need pure muscle to convey your point, when you are trying to talk your way out of a battle with an oppenent that cannot be resonded with, i will have just destroyed have there fleet, and when you come at me ready to fire i will have the advantage, due to the fact that because there is no gravity in space, i will have a far superoir range then you. and next you are going to attack someone's brain child give a reasoning not just saying that it is stupid.

It's a battleship with impulse and warp engines. It would be ripped apart in space, and all the people on the deck would suffocate. Also, the strain from the engines would tear it to pieces.

And Adamantium, a made up metal? Phasers could melt it away.

I also think hull armor would be enough to stop a slug thrower.

And the next time you post, use proper grammar.

billy9, would you please have some imagation, of course it has interial dampners, there would be no crew on deck period, it has a central life suport system, but every compartment has their own backup, inclueding the turrets.

i figured most people here, who like Star Trek in general, and not just the games, would have an imagation that could grasp the idea, and yes the turrets would be effective against hulls, ever heard of AP (Armor Peircing), and HE (High Explosive) shells, and do you have a problem with a made up metal, in a made up universe? i mean i think the hulls of all Star Trek vessels, are made up of made up metals, and admantium is indestructable, period, it can not be melted, after it is hardened, i mix many univers' in my PnP (Pen-and-Paper) games i play with my friends.

I think the starship I would want to command would be an Imperial Class Star Destroyer. Though, I think I would have the bow super re-enforced. If the turbo-lazers go down (only in real hot battles) "Prepare for ramming speed!!" Yeah, that would be a nice ship. Maybe It would be named the ISD Jugernaught!
In a Galaxy where disorder reigns, there is the USS BLAZER

not bad znite, i like the reinforce the bow, for ramming, and ISD looks like it could cout though an MC80 easy enough, as it is.

I would command the USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701-E. And dont imagine the clunker you see in Insurrection or Nemesis. Imagine the beauty shot at the beginning of First Contact. (For some reason the CGI never looked as pretty as the Physical Model did in that scene, and YES it was the physical model in the very first scene. For some reason people think its CGI)
