That is a classic. I almost forgot about Star Blazers.
The end of one Era is near... Star Trek Armada II - All Good Things...

I am not even sure if I ever knew of Star Blazers.
I enjoy the moments of peace and quite.
You know, when you dont think about anything.
I enjoy all 3 seconds of the day when that happens.

How can we forget with Lion Force and Vehicle Force Voltrons. There was a third series (of 3 robots combining into one) that was suppose to be part of the Voltron syndication package, but because of the popularity of the first 2, it was cut from the deal. Shame though, endless reruns pretty much killed the series. Commissioned subpar animation for finally new episodes didn't help it much.

Starblazers and Battle Of The Planets (and Speed Racer for the young at heart) were - in my opinion - the best animated ,most intelligent and adult series from the 70s. I always rushed home from school to try to catch it. It was pretty easy to make that choice considering the crud Hanna-Barbara was putting out at the time.

Check out the opening Intro for SB to relive those wonderful memories..
