It's about time more ST titles start rolling out. I'm glad Maddoc is back into it.

Have you guys notcied the release date - September '06. That surely can't be right, right? If that is, how did they avoid leaking any information before hand, it must've been in development before now otherwise those developers have really got the essence of playing Sonic the Hedgehog.

This sounds pretty interesting, not to mention it has the same name as the officially-hosted first RPG on AFC that went on last year lol.

That is kinda funny now that you mention that...lol

They can have the title, as long as the game doesn't bite!

Yeah it sounds good, but:
1) The storyline sucks.
2) Credit system? This is not Trek, sorry. But have you ever heard: "Please apologize, Jean-Luc. The Battle at Wolf359 did not brought you enough credit points, we cannot refit the Enterprise!"

At least I hope they do better ship meshes than in BC and STA. I just wonder why they did that bad and cheap meshes for salary, while the free time modders here do alot better meshes for no money.

You have to remember that games like SFC, BC and Armada are designed to multisystem compatible...i.e. they need to be able to run on the slower machines as well as the faster ones....Armada 2 for example with a lot of high poly models runs a lot better on my new 3.0 gig P4 than it did on my 600Mhz Athalon...not everyone has a high end gaming machine..soOo these games need to be able to run on slower machine..hence the reason that BC has a Sovvy thats 2,000 polies as opposed to the CG Sovvy that about 12,000 polies...

It sounds like all our prayers for Star Trek revival are being answered.
Lets hope it's for Trekkies and not for general purpose game users like "Star Trek shattered universe"(Might be a bad example but you get the point).

I like the idea of this game very much. Can't wait to play it. I will go out on a limb and say it will probably have more system requirements then any other Star Trek game previously released. While I am sure the requirements will not be to high. Seems like most new games are made for a medium cost machine at the time of release. So, I would guess that whatever is a 1000-1500 dollars (US Currency) computer at the time of release would be the "optimal" system settings. With the "minimum" system settings of probably a 800 dollar machine. Sounds about right. I would be very surprised if a new game ran on a 500 dollar machine at the time of release. While they have to make it where many people can buy it. They also expect the average computer user to upgrade thier system every few years atleast. But I am still all for the game. Waiting patiently for it.
