now i do have question for ya Elrond....how would u go about makin 'skin shields' of basically shields that tightly fit around the ships hull like they do on the sovereign in "Nemesis"??

The corbomite reflector can be modified to do an effect like that, but besides that, nothing else can be done. And the corbomite reflector method would work on ONLY one ship.

you would need the source code to attempt this , then it might not be possible even with the a2 source code (which has not been released)

A trainer (aka a program that edits the runtime variables and code) could do this legally, as it has been done with other fx before. But source code editing is completely illegal and results in something bad.

So, let me get crazy. Could it work with another new shieldnode? A new shieldsod?
I´m just thinking, theoratly... 8O :?: 8)

i was testing something along the lines of a new shield sod for each ship in my mod , but then my monitor died :cry:
