here is the improved shield explosion (more explosions) , it will be in a patch which will come as soon as i have a full bug report from all beta testers

thx , also some of the tauz ships/station will proberly be changed in the patch also and the tauz ships will have engine glow added like of the terran ships

what about an orbital defense network...like satellites around the planets u colonize or something? its something Bryan has been working on with his mod

i could add weapons to the orbital mining station , but i would need to make the freighter mine for metal instead of the orbital station

or considering the races......maybe planetary weapon.....like railguns firing from the surface?
